i just had my first taste of being operated on today.. and i never ever want
to have a 2nd.. boohoo.
Its really like what happens on the tv.. First i walked into this big and glamarous
operating theatre in this oversized blue garment topped with a showercap-like
thing, and was immediately bombarded by numerous high tech machinery.
Then i was told to lie on the operating 'bed' right in e middle of the room, and a
nurse started to place heart monitors on my chest.. and of coz there's the blinding
lights which they shine on ur body..
Then this anaesthetist comes and tells me not to worry, that everything will be fine,
and he'll just have to give me a small injection and put me to sleep..
BOY everything was definitely NOT ALRIGHT AT ALL!. turned out that it was not
a small injection. The pain was excruciating, and it was worse that he injected it in
my wrist which had more bones than flesh.. And i'm sure it wasn't just A injection..
I had 4 holes n bruises on my left wrist now.. and my left hand is not functional now
coz its affected by the anaesthetic, and it hurts whenever i 'use' it.. am typing this
entry single-handedly now.. Damn anaesthetist, tricked me into believing
him! But i fought to not scream out loud.. wanted to look brave too.. ha..
Next, the nurst put this thing over my mouth where i had to breathe oxygen n this
special gas.. While she was comforting me that everything was gg to be alright, i could
hear my heartbeat, and saw my surgeon approaching.. But my vision started to blur, and
my eyes became more droopy while i started to fall asleep..
The next thing i know, i awoke in the ward with the nurses chattering near me..
Thank god i didnt know wat was gg on during the 1-hr long operation! wouldnt like to know
that someone is cutting me up and drilling my teeth out..
Man, now i'm suffering the after effects.. The wounds are bleeding non-stop, and my
face is starting to swell. I look like a pig/beaver/chipmunk.. u know, all those animals
that have puffy cheeks.. The swells make me look very much like zhu ba jie..
Damn, its so ugly, andi'll sue the surgeon if i remain like this forever!
And of coz there's the pain.. Am surviving on painkillers now.. i dunno wat i'll do without
them. oh ya, and there's the agony of having NO CHOICE at all in ur food selection..
its porridge, porridge and PORRIDGE all the way! and my brother has to make it
worse by tempting me with all the good food.. ok, maybe i wont complain so much
if i can lose weight.. but i'm suffering!!

Had a great day yesterday.. ha, cant believe i'm the last girl in kcc
to turn 17.. looks like we're all getting more matured..
Cherlyn and Bee, thx so much for spending the day with me!
had fun shopping and flipping thru so many issues of seventeen over and
over again comparing horoscopes while kleon played his ps2. ha. we can so
entertain ourselves..
huiyi so sweetly wished me though she was climbing in m'sia. and wy,
isabel and xy too! ha. oh and of coz the guys.. Kleon, Jem, Joel, Shamir.. thx. Though
they did seem more interested in the cake and the supposed-to-be-ordered-pizza. heh.
Really had a great day.. Thx to all those who wished me too..
HuShing was so cute.. thought that fri was the 24th, and when she realised she made
a mistake, she came over to wish me and pass me the present. lol. cute.
Climbers gave me a nice surprise by calling me from m'sia too..
Have been spending like nobody's business the past wk.. have been doing
so much shopping ever since sis came back! man, we just cant seem to control ourselves.
argh. 28th is nearing.. damn scared of gg for the surgery..

Harry Potter rox, once again!! real exciting and funny..
sad though, and sort of left the cinema rather depressed.
ended up sobbing with Cherlyn sniffing beside me.. ha.
whoa.. shopped the whole afternoon till the evening.
and we just went crazy and ga-ga over the clothes when
we entered this esprit outlet near wheelock place which
had up to 70% discounts!! spent 2 hrs trying all the clothes
and selecting wat to buy.. If only we were that rich, we
wouldnt have to think twice b4 paying..
and me and bee just realized that we're leaving for hong kong
on the same day. and wat's best is that we're taking the same
flight!! its so conincidental..we're damn excited bout it now! heh.

i cant believe it the 3rd wk of the holidays already, how time flies!
and woohoo! sis is returning real soon! hmm, like 4 more days onli!! :))
zoo was way fun! had to be a marshall for the amazing-race like programme
SPH and the zoo organised for pri. school kids.. man, kids today are real
cheeky. their actions realli amused me, had a great time looking and
talking to them..
i'm cramping again.. painkillers are realli my lifesavers. i have to rely on them. sigh.

my poor willow. She stepped on sumthing nasty and ended up with an
infection on her left paw.. Brought her to the vet today, and the vet
placed a collar on her neck.. those big funnel-shaped kind that looks
like a lampshade, so as to prevent her from biting or licking the infected
area. my poor girl, she cant walk or run properly coz the collar is relative
big as compared to her small size, and its impeding her movements..
But its totally hilarious! she bangs into almost everything ard her coz of
that collar, and she's so demoralised that she just stays where she is most
of the time and depends on me to carry her ard.. lol.
oh well, i cant believe one wk has passed by so quicky. I mean, izzit even
the holidays?? i'm like gg back to school every other day. sigh, what tough
lives we students have..
still looking forward to the times kcc will spend together.
oh first up! catch e harry potter movie on opening day!! wohoo!

Now i understand y some ppl are so affected by other ppl's
behaviours.. Its hard to understand y some ppl behave in this
way and others in another..
but i'm so glad i have such great friends! thx esp. to Cherlyn n Kleon for
cheering me up tonight. man, u guys are so damn funny! miss the days
when i sit back to watch u two bicker and argue over small little things..
the scene is just hilarious! love ya both ;)
