Shopping today was fun! especially so since we'll nv get to do this again for a long long time.. but it was an interesting day. we saw this huge adorable english sheepdog at the open air McDonalds near Shaw. Take a look.
he's so so adorable and obedient! he looks like a life-size version of a english sheepdog stuff toy! cherlyn n I were thinking whether we shd pose with it, but decided that it'll be too weird doing so in the middle of the street..
not like my lazy willow, who spends like 23.5 hrs a day sleeping..
ok but of coz she's adorable as well. *beams*.. my best non-human buddy..
Man did we spend. and on the same stuff too. lol. we just couldnt resist the temptation (esp for the red heels, which were gg at 2 for $15!) and borders had this amazing buy 2 get 1 free plus additional 20% discount promotion for the books of the author i love.. i just couldnt help it!! Anw it'll be months b4 we go out shopping again..
Thx for such a great day Cherlyn dear! I love shopping with you. and this time we managed to grab some great bargains.. happy happy day! =)

Pirates of the caribbean: Dead man's Chest was awesome! It has been so long since i last gushed bout a movie.. but this was one great movie, one of the best i've ever seen. The acting was great (Johnny Depp nv fails to disappoint), the visual effects were outstanding, the plot kept you at the edge of your seat, and the movie was utterly hilarious!! You can't help but laugh at pirates, they're an interesting bunch..
Now i cant wait for POTC 3. kudos to the ppl who made no. 2 such an exciting movie, but its just frustrating that they leave you in suspense..
Boy it was great to take a breather. Right now everyone's stressing on studying studying and more studying till the A's are over.. i hope i'll still be alive by the end of those long god knows how many (prob 95682625) days..

It happened again. The team i supported didn't win again. So my theory still holds..
Hiaz so the world cup is over, but it was a great one month.. Loved every second of it.. Watched the WC finals with the girls, and we had a great time laughing, cheering and even cursing (the Italians most of the time -- coz other then HY and Bee, we were all French that night. It was a 4-2 ratio.).. 5 more weeks to a whole new season of the English Premiere League! Go Liverpool!. Hmmm maybe i shd switch the the Chelsea Camp so they'll lose.
Italia, The champions.. Kudos to Cannavaro, the only Italian player i like..Oh well, i won't go on and on praising them because i don't want to. Like Cherlyn said, Italy advances to the WC finals once every 12 years ONLY. By that time, France (or other countries) would have won the cup thrice.
What a sad day for the French.. Many hearts were broken. They definitely were the better team, and dominated since the start of 2nd half while Italy struggled to hold on. Well, sometimes the better team loses. Luck wasn't on their side..
One of the best footballers ever, zizou. I salute you. (Look who won the Golden Ball award! Surely not one of the Italians..) Though the red card was inevitable, i understand y he did that. I mean, damn Materazzi and his foul mouth, who downright insulted zidane on purpose. Apparently he called zidane a dirty terrorist.. But he said he doesn't even know what 'terrorist; means. Well come on, has he missed out on the 9/11 events? He's such a big guy and he doesn't know the meaning of 'terrorist'? If that was true, pigs would fly and i'll long be married to Steven Gerrard already..
ok, so the world cup has ended.. but south africa 2010 will come very soon! England will lift the cup this time I tell you. Can't you see those English hands -- Gerrard's, Terry's, Rooney's hands' clutching the cup? It'll be England's year. Just wait and see. =)

Thank god its not an Italy-Portugal final.. So hope France will lift the trophy and not Italy (sorry bee! heh).. Hmmm, my support has exerted negative effects on the teams instead of positive ones so far (see england, aus, brazil).. Hope France won't disappoint thought! Go Les Blues!

sorry to all the portugese fans or anti-english..
i cant help but complain about last night's match.. Its all fixed.
Damn the argentinian Referee who's biasness against England was so
blatant right from the start! he nv wanted them to win.. And it
doesn't help that England are playing against portugal, such a
dirty side who's best talent is play acting their way through out
the game..
England so didnt deserve to lose, especially not when they were
starting to get better.. they worked hard and fought hard though
they were down to only 10 men. Football is cruel. I
have since shed so much tears over it. maybe i shouldnt have fallen
in love with this beautiful game.. But then again, it has brought
me much joy.. hiaz. suddenly the world cup's not so exciting anymore.
Hope Germany wins thought, they're the only team i don't hold a grudge
against. and their wins have all been legitimate and deserving..
I cant wait for the day the World Cup is back in England, where England
will probably get better treatment from Fifa and the refs for once..
my dear boys, my heart goes all out to u guys.. i'm proud of u..
First lampard's penalty was saved, followed by Gerrard, then Carragher.. it was real tough.. Gerrard always scores. =(
Seeing them cry really broke my heart.. never saw them so dejected before.. my tears are with you my boys.. and becks had to leave his last world cup in tears..
oh boy i sure now how u guys feel.. it was really devastating..
my poor english players.. how much hope they had.. hope they'll conquer euro 2008..
currently the no.1 person on my most hated list now. This argentinian ref was so blatantly biased towards eng! (he sent off beckham b4 too) rooney didnt deserve a red card at all.. Refering is getting from bad to worse.. All these bald headed/grey-haird n obese refs (samsul excluded) do not deserve to get paid $64,000 for this month, to rob a country's chance of progressing to the next round!! To think the fifa fair play flag is raised on the field b4 every game. wat rubbish.. i hate these refs! Fifa shd consider replacing them with robots, seriously.
hate him for being so kpo and interferring in every decision the ref
makes, especially for the one rooney got sent off, and of coz for scoring
the last penalty. hope rooney gives him a real thrashing when they return
to man utd. (sorry to cherlyn and evey, but i really hate him. and of coz,
i purposely chose the ugliest photo of him.. to think he was voted the no. 1
hottest player in the gay mag. argh.)
What a big blow.. Brazil lost too.. Such a bad bad day.. suddenly the world cup doesn't seem so exciting anymore..

I've been real disciplined for not touching the comp for close to 2 weeks!..
Though i cant keep my eyes off channel 27 on scv coz of the world cup..
And at this moment i cant help but complain about the lousy refering so far,
especially that outrageous penalty that was given to italy in the last few seconds
of the game, that robbed Aus of a place in the quarter finals.. football is cruel.
Thank God the exams are over, but it was really disastrous.. am dreading
the day i get back my results..
All the more reason for me to enjoy myself as much as possible..
Hope England will be as happy tonight when they manage to beat portugal. =)
