2 natural disasters have occured that have caused great devastation around the world.
Clycone Nargis in Myanmar may have resulted in up to 100,000 fatalities of which 40% are childran, and the earthquake in China took away tens of thousands of lives. Its really devastating to hear such news, and I cannot possibly imagine what those affected people are going through right now.
I'm so thankful that I'm from a part of the world which doesn't have the misfortune of natural disasters, and that I'm currently living in a part that doesn't experience this as well. While these people have to struggle to survive, I'm thankful that I have a roof over my head.
Can you imagine, their problems include food, shelter, warmth etc. Compared to myself and others, whose worst problems are probably struggling to finish studying and trying to pass the exams, worrying about whether I have enough savings to shop online, and complaining about not having enough time to sleep everyday.
I pray for those families affected, and thank God for keeping my family and friends safe.

I just had a CRAAAAZY wk. and it really was crazy. 9-5 everyday. Tests, assignments, quizzes. Dissections after dissections blah. There was this day where we had the dog dissection from 9-5. Imagine standing the whole day just dissecting a dog's forelimb. and its only the forelimb!
There are layers and layers of muscles beneath that skin we see. its like walking into a massive walk-in wadrobe and searching through piles and piles of clothes and shoes to find that particular item. I went home with sore arms and legs, I'm not kidding.
So little slp last wk. Part of it was due to the liverpool champions league match. yup, we're out. I'm devastated, end of story. I'm not gg to think bout it ever again.
I'm so glad to take a breather for a while. but then, i'm gonna get real busy again. My exam timetable just came out. 6 papers in 13 days. oh my oh my.
But after all this complaining and whining, I'm still glad to say I like what I'm studying. It tedious and tiring and hard, but nothing in life is easy. I just have to get thru 3.5 more years of vet school. So glad that i'm doing what I love, otherwise it'll be much more tiring.
Ok. off to whatever school stuff again.

OH!! and it Hailed that day. Like it was raining ice cubes!! Laura and I were sooo excited and determined to go stand under it after our dissection class, but then it stopped :(. I know it sounds sick, but hey, HAIL. Not everyone gets to experience it. I so hope it hails again.
