The first week of school flew by just like that. I haven't been online this whole week coz I'm stuck on this korean drama called queen of the game. Its soo addictive I just couldn't stop.

First week of school was alright. Somehow I didnt feel as lost and alone like last semester, coz there are at least some familiar faces in every lecture or tutorial. Esther and I 'illegally' switched our chem tut (same as kiki!). Well, no one cares now since its uni. Its so different from those times in JC and secondary school. Its no longer thrilling to do something against the school rules, and the feeling of being rebellious is somewhat different. Oh, and Korean boy is in the same bio prac as me again! same table too =)

And i had my first driving lesson last Fri! Thank god I didnt stall. George, my hilarious driving instructor said I was not bad after all. He was telling me stories bout some horrendous students he had, so much so that he always had to say a quick prayer before they start driving. So i just hopped into the driver's seat immediately, and after some explanations on how the clutch and gears work, I hit the roads. Like real roads, with traffic, pedestrians, trams and bicycles. U could imagine how nervous i was. After all, I have never driven before! well except for daytona. George saw that I was gripping the steering wheel like my life depended on it, so he started cracking jokes to make me feel relaxed. Well, it sort of worked, and after sometime it wasn't so scary anymore. looking forward to my next lesson next wk!

Alrite, I'm off to watch my korean drama again. Shall catch up with everyone soon, online. I promise! Let me indulge in my k drama for now.

I finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows alr. but shan't divulge anything, dun worry. Just gotta say that the book was brilliant =) (giving JK Rowling and her brilliant mind their due respect)

So kiki and I met at like 7.45 am aus time,in the cold, when it was still foggy n freezing, and walked to borders to join the queue. Yup, call us crazy. But thank god for our early arrival though, coz the queue became quite long after some time. U shd have seen kiki la! we were practically hopping home, and she couldn't wipe the smile off her face the moment she layed hands on the bk. haha.

Needless to say, we went into hibernation mode once we reached home. Nothing else was on my mind except hp and more hp. oh well, kinda sad now that everything has ended.

Shall tune my mind back to the impt but otherwise dreadful thought that uni is starting again. I wished my sis would come back soooon!

I'm so bored. seriously. The only time I open my mouth to speak is when I'm singing along to the songs I'm playing on my comp to make me believe that the house isn't as quiet as it seems.
Cherlyn's gone back and my sis is not back yet coz she cant board due to full flights. So there's no one to talk to face to face.

I immersed myself in my chores from like 1-5 today, and even skipped lunch. All so that I have something to do, and to clear them so I have a completely free day tmr to ready my harry potter book.

oh well, Cherlyn left today. How time flies eh, 26 days just flew past like that. Of coz, we were both sad that we had to leave each other. Come to think of it, it was quite funny though. The whole time in the bus when we were travelling to the airport we were talking to each other but not looking at each other, coz we know that the waterworks will start.

Then there was this whole saga in the airport. when Cherlyn's luggage exceeded by (yes u are not hallucinating*) a whooping 20kg! so she brought back slightly less than 50kg worth of clothes n foodstuff. yes, like bee said, she brought back the weight of me. So she had to pay like $240 aus dollars, a ludicrous amt! but then we met this really nice singaporean lady, Flora, who agreed to offload some of her luggage weight by checking in together. Thank God for Flora.

So I last saw her in her purple jacket, entering the departure gate. Of coz I'm sad, which human wouldnt be? departures are always sad. But I'm gonna be back in approx 4 months time. I so cant wait. I just have to get thru sem 2 in melb uni. I hope it will be a quick and rather harmeless semester.

And yes, i still have to complain bout the cold. I'm relying on my heater now. I'd rather be shipped to some desert or somewhere, so that I'll not shiver like every other minute.

Harrpy Potter, 9.01am aus time, sat! me and kiki alr made plans to go queue up at borders at 8. yup, we're crazy.

We're back from the sunny Gold Coast! And i soo miss the sun there. Its freaking freezing here. It even snowed in Dandenong! So me and Cherlyn have been trying to keep ourselves warm since coming back here. Everytime I step out of the shower I wanna scream, coz I'm trying to wipe and dress myself but its sooo hard coz I'm shivering. argh. I need SUN and warmth.

All in all, we had a great holiday. We found our way ard using only public transport, and i managed to get cherlyn to sit ALL the scary rides with me. haha.

And we met up with dear wan jie today =). She came down to the city, and ended up more of a tourist than cherlyn, who knew her way ard so well alr. lol. We had so much fun, just talking bout the good old times. I'll find a time to go visit u in clayton ok? and dun forget our sg date.

and my timetable's out. Its sucky. I hate it that School is starting. At least there's the 7th harry potter bk to indulge in b4 sch starts.

We went to Phillip Island last Wed to see the penguin parade and it was a great experience. They are sooooo cute! it was a long wait for them to come back from sea, but it was all worth it =). More pictures!

So busy sight seeing the last few days that we hardly have time to update. We went to the Royal Botanical Gardens and the Shrine of Remembrance, shopped, ate, and ate more. I'm eating sooo much good and sinful food since Cherlyn came. Its a pigging out session everytime we eat out.

Now I've convinced Cherlyn to be a k drama addict too =). Every night we just curl up under our blankets and watch k drama till late at night, pigging out on krispy kremes, cookies, ice creams blah. sigh. I so have to go on a diet after the hols.

And look what's my latest craze. yea, transformers. for real. Catched it today coz Harry wanted to watch (convinced Cherlyn to go.), and the results shocked me. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Cherlyn still cant believe i liked it. There was humour, action and lots of great effects. For those who havent watched them yet (esp girls), go watch it! its great.

Next up, Harry Potter! we're gonna watch it on the first day of release. and the book! i'm soo gonna go to borders first thing in the morning when it opens just to collect my book. And I'll probably stay home n not do anything else until i've finished reading it. =)

Long overdue photos of melb are up!

Spent most of the days in the city or shopping. Our plans to go the the Royal Botanical Gardens were hindered coz of the rain, so we ended up pigging out at max brenners and shopping in melbourne central.

The weather today was gorgeous. Lots of sunshine, the perfect day for our zoo trip. More pics next time!

And we had a 3 hr steamboat dinner tonight, eating and watching Cheaper by the Dozen 2. We love steamboats =).

We talk about KCC our family and our friends everyday, remembering the good old times back in Singapore. We miss everyone.
