Have been busy the past few days..
Went out with jw, kb and vita on sat, then had dinner at siglap with Amanda and Stephenie at night.. It was great meeting them again, haven't sat down and talked for a long long time..

Its funny how friendships evolve.. Its fate that decides who your friends are, and new friends that you will make. And I'm glad i have such great friends, be it in school or outside. I love them all! esp bestie =)

Flight situation's tricky again. British Airway's gg on strike on the day when I'm scheduled to leave, so their customers will flock to Qantas and take up my space! hiaz..

I was taking a walk with willow the other day and just savouring everything around me. Things that i'll miss over in australia. The past few days I've been eating food that's hard to find in Mebourne.. Guess you'll only know how to treasure things when u know u might loose them soon..

Its gonna be another busy wk. But Zoo day's coming! =)

The pictures say it all. We love the her sign outside the toilet.. lol.
And surprisingly, Cherlyn drank TNL ystd! yup then she couldnt slp till 6am.. I tell you Starbucks did something about my suggestion.. They have toffee nut on the menu now.. not the real menu but those on the chalkboard kind.. Being a loyal customer has paid off =)

We can just sit down, slack and talk about anything under the sun.. We do wacky things together. Yes and we got scolded 'crazy' by some school boys ytd..

Its such a good day.. Not hot, yet not raining, just cooling. Perfect. for zoo. heh

There are so many things to pack. so many things to leave behind. So many ppl to say goodbye to. so little time.

I'll miss dear willow. though i keep telling her i'm gg off soon, she doesn't understand. She'll only realize when i dun return home for a very long time. She won't see me for 9 months.

I have been so exhausted the past few days, finally caught up on my sleep today after taking a 5 hr long nap.. Watched the man utd match with Cherlyn and Kleon on sunday night. It so funny hearing Cherlyn talk during the match. Its always: Aye pass the ball to RONALDO la!; wah i love RONALDO's footwork; Y u sub RONALDO out? blah blah. Everything revolved ard Ronaldo the whole match.. Needless to say, she was bummed out when they lost..

Then we surprised Cherlyn at her workplace. her boss has seen me so many times alr, but thank god the fiercer one didnt turn up yesteday. So we sat and talked to her for 6 hrs! I bet every customer that walked in thought that kleon and I were slackers with nothing better to do. Yes what to do? we're the 2 freest person ever. I cant believe we just lay on the comfy black velvet couch and talked about everything that came to mind, from setting up our roadside stall to the barber across the street. I wanna have the couch i my room, dun even mind exchanging it for my bed..

Looking at my dear gurl work was v funny, but she's a gd worker. Even her boss praised her in front of us, saying that she's very hardworking. We even helped out occasionally!

I love these 2 ppl.. they never fail to make my day =)

Went out with the class girls today! It was great just seeing them, because it has been so so long.. We spent our time gossiping bout other ppl, and caught up with each others' lives.. I do hope we'll continue to be like this =)

Then we went off to Muddy Murphy's to catch liverpool vs. Chelsea live! Of coz, we demolished the blues 2-0! liverpool was the bomb that night man! we couldn't contain our excitement when liverpool scored. we screamed , shouted and hollered, punched our fists in the air and laughed when chelsea screwed up. I know its evil, but thats football. ha.

Of course, the chelsea fans there had a bad night. Check out the gloomy expression of a chelsea fan at the back of us. But after the game, this ang moh chelsea fan came over to shake our hands and said 'well done'. What a good loser, great sportsmanship..

Yes its quite confirmed. I'm leaving on the 13th, one day earlier..

Another off day with dear. Went to visit Hu Shing on the pre-text that we were interested in learning yoga. That poor girl, hope she'll be liberated soon..

I may be leaving earlier than expected because the flight situation looks bad.. hopefully its not too early..

I'm back from Thailand!
Had a blast in that fantastic country, all thanks to our great hosts! Btw this is gonna be a super long entry filled with loads of pictures.. We actually took close to a thousand photos over 6 days, but there are far too many to upload. Check out our pretty host, voramon, our classmate from TJ (the one in yellow)

Day 1: Arrived in Bangkok and went sight-seeing at the Grand Palace. Their temples are so magnificently structured you cant help but be awestruck. Later, we crossed the Chao Praya River and did a little shopping nearby and at Platinum Shopping Centre.

Ended the day with a Thai Massage. It felt so so gd to be pampered for one and a half hours we literally fell asleep..

Day 2: Had fun at Dream World Theme Park!

Later that night we went to catch Bangkok's most famous Cabaret Show, in which transvestites star in.. Some of them are so so pretty they would make many Real girls jealous. They're prettier than many girs combined! (check out the prettiest one at the bottom left hand corner, the one in the white gown)

Day 3: Voramon's Mum and Dad drove us all the way to their countryside home. We first went on an elephant ride, then visited the Bang Pa-In Palace, the palace which the prince resides if he decides to go to that area.

Then we headed over to Voramon's countryside house. The moment we drove in our jaws dropped. We couldnt close our mouths because we were awestruck by the size of her house! Its fit for a king i tell you! You could build many houses there! They have a humongous Orchid plantation, several big ponds with boats, many gardens that have water sprinklers, a tree house etc etc. We watched the sunset there and it was beautiful.

She even had a separate block that consists of a Karaoke Room, a cocktail bar with all kinds of liquor. Plus a billiard and Foosball table! Whats most fascinating is that her toilet is no ordinary toilet. Its just like those you see in shopping centres and hotels. It doesnt only have one cubicle like most houses do, but several.. I could hold a party there and invite hundreds of ppl, and there would still be plenty of space!

Day 4: Enjoyed the countryside house in the morning, then went off for shopping at MBK. Went home with hands full of plastic bags that night.

Day 5: went shopping at the famous Flea market, Chatuchak Weekend Market! Almost everything there is a bargain. I wish i had more money though. Thank god i had Dad's card to pay for some stuff. Jing wei even shopped till she was in deficit , and had to borrow from me. haha. Now that I'm back in Singapore, everything is expensive..

I tell you, i went nuts when i found out that they had Starbucks there. Although they no longer had toffee nut latte, i still found my perfect drink. To Wee and wanjie, Try Hazelnut mixed with Caramel Latte next time, it tastes exactly like TNL! and it only cost me $4+ in bangkok. Whats more, i got to catch the liverpool match outside. Even Thai ppl are football crazy..

Then it was time to go home. We boarded the plane with heavy hearts and heavier luggages.. All in all, it was a great trip. I'm starting to miss Thailand already, especially the late nights we spent gossiping bout ppl. The last night Jing Wei, Voramon, Vita, Yenny and I stayed up till 5am!

But too many late nights and good food took a toll on my body.. I caught a bad flu and slept from 10 to 1.30pm. I woke up only when Cherlyn dear called me. Was too tired to do anything that day.. Shall spend the next few days recuperating..

Btw, check out my favourite souvenir from Thailand! A potrait of me and Steven Gerrard! had it done in Dream World. The Artist is so talented she could draw Gerrard just by looking at a small picture of him.. I'm so gonna frame this up and bring it to melbourne!

Cherlyn had her off day again! we seriously didnt know what to do.. We even considered climbing Bukit Timah Hill for a change.. But of coz that didnt work out.. So we just met at Orchard for shopping.. Without meaning to buy anything at all.. But we still ended up with stuff.
Thank god she only has one off day per wk or we would be seriously broke already..

I was a happy shopper today! I was destined to buy the last few remaining cups of Toffee Nut Latte b4 the season ended despite Cherlyn's fervent objection. [Which reminds me, I have yet to send back the Starbucks Feedback form, to request for. Toffee Nut Latte the whole yr round]

And then, I finally bought the Liverpool Jersey! The shop assistant called several other outlets but they were all sold out.. I got the last one in the store, lucky me! and she also said that new stock wouldnt be coming in for some time.. Cherlyn also got some nice stuff =)

Cant wait to go shopping in Bangkok still though.

Btw Cherlyn dear, i stayed up to post this so u would have something to read during work tmr.. Dun complain bout being bored k.. haha

New Year's party with Kcc was great!
our first pot luck wasn't so successful.. lol. my lagsana was too dry by the time i brought it there.. Too think i spent 3 and a half hours slogging in the kitchen! And while everyone brought COOKED food, Cherlyn dear brought FROZEN fish fingers there.. haha.. We all had a gd laugh over it..

Wee Wee fried the hot dogs, but then overslept.. by the time she woke up we finished dinner alr.. lol, that girl arh.

But it was great fun. Nothing beats slacking ard with my fave ppl, just hanging ard the table, talking and eating leisurely..

Left early as Hui yi had to work.. So we met up with kleon, who made us wait so long, and walked all the way to marine cove. 3km! Complaints came from everyone, it was like we were climbing Mt Everest and there was no end point..

When we finally reached, we went to coffeebean while waiting for hy to end her work. I walked into Coffeebean, i betrayed starbucks! But it was under forced circumstances, and of coz coffee bean's coffee can never beat that of starbucks.

Watching these ppl constantly remind me of what i'll be missing in about one month's time.. and of coz there's my family.. And it doesnt help that i'm leaving on Valentine's day.. I dunno how it'll be like. I'm excited yet apprehensive. After all, I'm chasing my dream.

But I'm scared.

I miss my Alex.. The noise, the laughter, the goofing around. And i wont get to see him when he comes back for CNY coz i'll be in aus already.. It was the most emotional 'farewell' ever.. But now my uncle's trying to change their flight so that they'll return on the day i'm supposed to leave.. So they'll have half a day to spend with me..

My favourite boy almost lost his appetite when we were dining at the airport. I finally got him to smile for a while when i took a pic with him, but his tears just kept flowing..

I've been shopping the last 2 days with Cherlyn then sis. and its tiring..
Looking forward to kcc's new yr party =)
