Its my last wk of work!
I'm gonna miss lunch time with the crazy collegues and all. But I so cant wait to be rid of this job. I cant understand how my colleague Linda can stand doing this for the past 15 yrs. 2 months into this job and I already cant take it.
I can finally have some free time to myself, spend more time with family and friends and so on. Now I'm like the only-come-out-on-wkends person. But seeing kcc always cheers me up. I so miss shopping with the dear. I'm gonna go on a huge shopping spree and stock up before I go back.
I received this email from jw and kb bout animal cruelty. Its this petition to sign an anti-fur campaign started by PETA. There was this video attached which showed how ppl in China throw animals around and skin them alive. 5 seconds into the video and i shut the whole thing off.
It was horrible, grusome and inhumane. How can ppl treat living things like that. Animals cant talk back and defend themselves, and the only living things that can stop these are humans. I know how some ppl always say that animals are just animals, and how others cannot understand the huge protests against animal cruelty. But put yourselves in their shoes and just try to imagine how inhumane these acts are. Sorry to say, but F*** these ppl. What makes us think that humans are the most superior species. Yes we can talk, and we are intelligent creatures. But that doesn't give us the right to perform such acts. I'm sorry if I sound too strong or anything, but I strongly condemn animal cruelty.
I wanna do something about it next time. I HAVE to.

Christmas and New yr came and flew by in a flash. I just love this time of the year where family and friends come together. Ever since Alex and family came back, there never was a quiet moment in out house.
We went for karaoke, had a night safari trip, had good food almost everyday coz of my uncle. Sweet. I so cant wait for the end of january when my work ends and I have more time for myself and friends. omg Shopping! u heard that Cherlyn? :) So slp deprived now a days.
We had our annual kcc xmas party as usual. It was a mad rush trying to get everything planned, typical kcc. But it was such a cozy affair, I'm sure everyone had a great time. I saw Evey again after god knows how long. Damn she went to US and became skinnier. How is that possible?! I so have to take lessons from her.
So its the beginning of a new year again. Thinking back, I had a great 2007. The whole melb experience was better than I expected it to be. I made great new friends, and relationships with my best friends back home became better. If I were to talk about significant events that happened in 2007 I would never be able to finish. All in all, it was great. Next yr's gonna be tough, but hopefully it'll be gd as well.
